Cone Art Kilns Tucker’s Cone Art Kilns Inc. is a Canadian company that has been producing quality kilns for glass and ceramic artists since 1982. Annealing Bubbles Annealing bubbles are a lightweight insulating material made from silica that will hold the heat in your beads as they cool up to 3x more slowly than in fiber blanket. They are not a substitute for kiln annealing. However, if you do not have easy access to a kiln, you’ll be able to make and successfully cool larger beads in a tin of annealing bubbles than may have survived with fiber blanket cooling alone. Thick components, such as murrini cane can be placed directly into the material for slow cooling. Price: 1.75 litre plastic bag (bubbles must be put into metal container before use) $15.37
